Additional Information

As requested, the Company confirms that the claims made under the two writs of summons served yesterday on Asia Pacific Breweries (S) Pte Ltd ("APBS"), by Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB Singapore Branch and Mizuho Corporate Bank. Ltd total US$ 33 million plus, as is normal under the circumstances, interest and costs.

These sums claimed are part of approximately S$ 117 million which Chia Teck Leng cheated from four banks.

As stated before, APBS is confident of its position, and will vigorously defend the claims in court.
